The 2025 Spring Discourses will be delivered at a meeting of the Society in University College Dublin in Belfield on Friday, 11 April at 5.30 pm.
The venue is the Sutherland School of Law, Lecture Theatre L143, also known as the William Fry Theatre.
The discourses will be delivered by three members of the Society speaking to the following topics:
- Daire Hogan – Three Irish Law Lords – Lords Fitzgerald (1882), Morris (1889) and Atkinson (1905): three appointments and a disappointment
- Coleman Dennehy – Local justice for local people: Justices of the Peace in early modern Ireland
- Niamh Howlin – ‘Something More Than Tourists’: The American Bar Association in Ireland
